The tulip harvesting season is fairly over. Also the last delivered M.H. harvester to Callantsoog, let's review briefly. Flower bulb nursery Th.G.W. van Haaster B.V. has cleared this season with their second M.H. 1,80 machine. This machine also sits, just like their first, again packed with options:
- Touchscreen- and programmable joystick control including M.H. Connect Modem
- Automatic leveling
- Product-friendly, driving speed dependent harvesting mat
- Separately adjustable speed for harvesting head and sieve box
- Two separately speed-adjustable triangular beaters under the sieve conveyor including beater levers
- Finger roller bed and sieving unit with quick-change system
- Short endless stainless steel sieve for. a product-friendly transfer from finger rollers to sieve belt with eccentric beater
- Broad, swiveling discharge conveyor including filling belt
- Aflegband t.b.v. of swath harvesting which is equipped with automated swath placement
- Removal unit for use in lilies
- Camera control system and optimal work lighting In addition to this new machine, we have the existing M.H. harvesting machine further expanded. This is equipped with a fully automatic box changing system. A shaking sieve unit with hydraulically folding sieve spout has also been installed.
